About West Tour – Madeira Island

This tour lasts 8/9 hours. Start at your hotel or accommodation.
The first stop begins in the picturesque fishing village of Camara de Lobos. Then we head to Cabo Girão, the second highest point in the world over the sea, 580 meters high. The next stop is at Ribeira Brava where we can take a break for tea or coffee and take a short walk around the village and visit the centuries-old church.
Next stop we head north to the beautiful village of São Vicente. We continue along the north coast along the seafront and stop to see some waterfalls towards Seixal. In Seixal we stop to see the culture of the Madeira wine vineyards and a general view of the north coast.
The next stop is Porto Moniz. We take a break for an hour and a half for lunch or a light meal and visit the natural pools.
Then we headed to the mountains to Paul da Serra, 1500 meters high, where the flattest part of the island is. Along the way we make several stops to appreciate the island’s highest mountains and deep valleys. Until the Encomenda viewpoint where we can see the north south of the island and then we pass through the Serra de Água valley towards Funchal/hotel
